About the Role
We’re looking for a Leasing Consultant to lead occupancy, resident retention, and community engagement at our multifamily community, home to a vibrant student resident base. This role blends traditional leasing with social media marketing, resident outreach, and event planning — perfect for someone who enjoys both relationship-building and results-driven work.
You’ll partner closely with the Property Manager and on-site team to drive leasing goals, deliver exceptional service, and create a welcoming, student-centered community.
What You’ll Do
Leasing & Resident Relations
- Lead the full leasing process : tours, applications, screenings, and lease execution.
- Deliver responsive, high-quality customer service to prospective and current residents.
- Support move-ins, renewals, and move-outs with accuracy and care.
- Monitor occupancy trends and recommend strategies to maximize leasing success.
Marketing & Social Media
Develop and manage social media campaigns that drive awareness and leasing traffic.Partner with marketing teams to produce engaging digital and print content.Track lead sources and recommend improvements to boost ROI.Community Engagement
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and campus partners.Plan resident events and community-building initiatives to enhance satisfaction.Act as a brand ambassador online and in person, fostering a positive living environment.Team & Operations
Maintain accurate leasing and resident files.Support the Property Manager with reports and occupancy updates.Partner with maintenance to ensure units are ready on time.What We’re Looking For
Leasing or property management experience (student housing experience a plus).Strong communication and customer service skills.Social media savvy — comfortable creating and promoting engaging content.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Education / Training, Skills, and Experience Needed
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.Minimum of 2 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience, preferably in student housing or multifamily properties.Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) for business / marketing purposes.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with a student population.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, or similar).Goal-oriented with proven ability to meet or exceed leasing targets.If you’re passionate about creating a community where residents feel at home and connected, apply today to join our growing team.
