Production Supervisor – Beverage Division : Dakota, IL

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for food manufacturing? Our client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a hands-on management style, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and developing team members to support operational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise day-to-day production activities on processing and downstream lines, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
• Lead daily team meetings, communicate expectations, and provide on-the-floor guidance and support.
• Coordinate product changeovers, line start-ups, shutdowns, and equipment setups to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation protocols, and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to support smooth, consistent operations.
• Monitor production metrics and use KPIs to drive performance improvements and maintain optimal output.
• Maintain accurate documentation for batch records, production runs, and audit compliance.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to promote skill growth and team performance.
• Enforce cleanliness and organization using 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing waste.

Pay : $65,000 - $85,000 / year

Type : Full-time, 2nd / 3rd Shift, Onsite

Schedule : 2-2-3 (every other weekend) Schedule, 5 : 40 p.m. – 6 : 00 a.m.
