Our full-service Architectural and Engineering (A-E) firm has operations throughout the United States in support of Department of Defense, Federal Government, and Private Sector clients. We are looking for an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer IV (depending on experience level) to work out of our Charlotte, NC office.

• There is a possibility to work out of our Atlanta, Georgia office if you would like to reside in that location.

We are currently looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer IV or III with their PE License (depending on experience level) to design and perform QC of designs for a variety of electrical and communications projects primarily for

military / commercial / industrial

new and retrofit for building and infrastructure construction.

You will leverage your extensive experience and technical expertise and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that integrate seamlessly with architectural designs.

You'll have responsibility for design requirements; preparation of design plans, project specifications and cost estimates; inspection of construction projects; quality review of subcontractor designs and close interaction with a multidisciplinary staff of engineers and scientists.

In this role, you'll also delegate, plan and execute, while managing scopes, schedules, and budgets. Must have the ability to confidently take project from beginning to end. You'll also mentor and train junior-level employees.

Responsibilities :

Education / Requirements :

BS in Electrical Engineering.

Current Professional Engineering license (North Carolina or Georgia) and ability to be licensed by comity in other states.

Minimum 20 years of Electrical and Communication Design experience.

Extensive working knowledge of applicable design and building codes.

Experience Administering and Managing Construction Contracts.

RCDD preferred (not required).

LEED AP certification preferred (not required).

Computer proficiency in Revit / AutoCAD - Excel, Word, and discipline specific software.
