HR Manager
We are currently hiring for a HR Manager position in the Somerset, NJ area. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with PTO, benefits, 401k, and salary is $80-$85k. This role is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource functions. Schedule : Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, fully on sight.
Key Responsibilities Include :
- Establishing and maintaining department records, reports, employee files, organizational charts, and employee rosters.
- Processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including ensuring accurate submission of timecards, OT / on-call pay, vacation / sick time, and addressing payroll inquiries or errors.
- Managing benefits administration, 401K, and Profit-Sharing accounts.
- Leading talent acquisition : sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and conducting exit interviews.
- Overseeing annual performance evaluations and salary adjustments.
- Developing and maintaining personnel policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Providing guidance and counseling to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with employment laws including FMLA and workers' compensation.
- Supporting organizational assessment, training, and development strategies.
Requirements :
Experience with payroll processing in ADP Workforce Now is required.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.Proven experience in HR management, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
