Job Summary
Responsible for obtaining necessary information from agencies and customers requesting service, coordinating various types of services, schedules requests to meet resource availability, dispatching the appropriate personnel in response to service requests, processing requests by field providers, facilitating information flow between the healthcare team and field personnel, and performing assigned clerical and billing functions as needed.

Qualifications
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Other Certificate / Diploma preferred.
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Licenses and Credentials Experience in emergency dispatching, EMS or similar area 1-2 years preferred and Experience in hospital or healthcare operations 1-2 years preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multi task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS, and other communication tools. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
