Operations Supervisor

As an Operations Supervisor, you will plan, schedule, coordinate and implement methods and procedures that will ensure the most efficient and economical routing and movement of customers' freight in an error-free manner.

Responsibilities include compiling production and service records, inspecting and measuring performance, reviewing logs and reports, setting up freight deliveries, performing and assisting with billing and analysis, maintaining communication with customers, assisting with training and development, recruiting and developing personnel, ensuring premises protection, investigating and initiating corrective actions, understanding and applying safety practices, facilitating information meetings, and handling special assignments.

Qualifications include knowledge of the LTL / Transportation Industry, experience managing drivers and dockworkers, knowledge of the surrounding geographical area, legal eligibility to work in the United States, being at least 18 years of age, and fluency in English.
