What You Will Do

We're looking for a highly skilled and proactive Manufacturing Electronics Technician to join our production floor. This role is essential to maintaining the high quality and efficiency of our manufacturing lines, blending technical repair expertise with hands-on operational leadership.

• Manufacturing & Equipment Maintenance : Serve as the technical expert responsible for testing, maintenance, and repair of electronic components and test equipment. Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Production & Quality Assurance : Set up, operate, and monitor assembly lines following SOPs. Conduct in-process quality checks and repairs to ensure all products meet design specifications.
• Process Leadership : Act as the team trainer and Subject Matter Expert (SME), consistently applying 5-S principles and suggesting opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Documentation & Safety : Meticulously complete all production and quality control documentation. Work safely and effectively communicate status across shifts and with management.

The Dayton Operations team is a high-volume, quality-driven organization that is fundamental to getting Trimble's hardware products from concept and component form into the hands of customers worldwide. It is a major, sophisticated hub focused on manufacturing, quality assurance, and global physical distribution for the company's hardware and technology solutions.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
