Outbound Manager, Warehouse Operations

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing / controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

The Outbound Manager, Warehouse Operations, oversees the building's outbound processing, including picking, packing, and shipping to achieve operational efficiency and safety. Through successful operational and people management, the Outbound Operations Manager delivers on the business unit's short-term goals, improves profitability, and develops the business unit's warehouse talent. This job also responds to urgent customer needs or supply disruptions to ensure customer commitments are fulfilled.

Location / Shift :

• Location : This is an on-site position (5 days a week) based out of Cardinal Health's Aurora, IL distribution center supporting pharmaceutical supply chain operations.
• Night Shift Support : Sunday-Thursday Night Shift : Schedule assignment will vary based on work demands. Must be able to provide adequate support for associates working Sunday nights from 5 : 00pm-1 : 30am (or until finish) and Monday-Thursday nights from 6 : 00pm-2 : 30am (or until finish).

Anticipated salary range : $98,200 - $140,300 annually
