North American Rail Solutions (NARS) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Client Development Manager to drive company revenues and profitability with an assigned sales region. This role will focus on generating new sales and business opportunities, with a primary focus on creating and executing regional sales strategies. The Client Development Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for overseeing all aspects of business development and sales in the region, ensuring the successful delivery of NARS' goals and objectives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.
- Create a culture of success within the sales team to drive growth in the business and goal achievement.
- Manage sales team and provide resources to deliver profitable growth.
- Hire and develop sales staff, providing training and mentoring for other members of the team.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, to include monthly forecasts with the operational leaders for budget purposes.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion into new related services or geographies in support of the overall regional and company growth plans.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Develop and manage reports regarding sales activity for the company's pipeline.
- Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new sales opportunities.
- Working with executives to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities.
- Ensuring that the company meets revenue targets.
- Ability to travel within assigned area, up to 40%
- All other duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business-related disciplines, RequiredWork Experience Required :
5 years sales management experienceKnowledge of rail maintenance and / or commercial construction operationsTrack inspection (FRA or non-FRA) in order to help identify and evaluate opportunities.Ability to manage multi-site sales team (more than 5 team members)Skills & Knowledge Required :
