Pratt & Whitney is transforming the future of flight. We're seeking the people to drive it. This role is for an Electronic System Servicer (alternate work week 6 : 00am - 6 : 00pm) and is intended for onsite work at the East Hartford location.

What You Will Do

• Reads and interprets board layouts, schematics and BOMs
• Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronics to diagnose causes of malfunctions and repair
• Adjusts, modifies and repairs electronic systems, working from sketches, layouts, and diagrams
• Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance
• Maintains electric and electronic test equipment
• Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions
• Disassembles manual equipment and replaces it with new or repaired parts
• Uses hand tools, power tools, and simple machine tools to repair manufacturing equipment
• Performs Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Performs General Maintenance duties as needed
• Performs system calibrations and recordings
