Service Skilled Trade
Position is a hybrid role, working onsite three days a week, remote two days a week. Remote days are planned for Wednesday and Thursday but may change as operational needs arise. New hires will be expected to work on site for onboarding and training for approximately four to five months before transitioning to the full hybrid schedule.
Patient Care and Prevention Facilities (PCPF) manages all MD Anderson buildings where cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention programs are provided at both our Texas Medical Center Campus and community locations.

The primary purpose of the Work Control Coordinator position is to report directly to the Manager, Operations & Maintenance to provide operational support to PCPF / Building Care & Operations in matters of CMMS, asset management, work request routing and work order reporting for departmental operations.

Employee is designated as ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL for all emergency-related events and agrees to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in this agreement. The employee may be assigned to an on-call group and will be compensated accordingly. While on-call, the employee must remain available and respond in accordance with policy. Periods of heightened alert, when emergency conditions are possible, are not considered on-call.

EDUCATION :
Required : Associate's Degree or Trade diploma / certificate. Preferred : Bachelor's Degree In a related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE :
Required : Two years Administrative or clerical experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. Preferred : Previous experience in a plant / maintenance environment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS : Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
