Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily operations of the Stewarding department, including maintenance and cleanliness of the food preparation area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED as well as a minimum of three (3) yearssupervisory experience in the food and beverage area, or an equivalent combination of education and / or work experience.
• Must have proven track record in a high volume capacity, preferablysupervisory position, business management, purchasing and record keeping.
• Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills which include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, specific to position responsibilities.
• Knowledge or acquired knowledge of computer and software applications, proficient in Excel and Word.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear.
• The employee isrequired to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements.
