Overview
SUMMARY : The Production Manager directs and coordinates activities of the production departments in safety, materials management, productivity management, scheduling, preventive maintenance, and human resources. Must be the site leader in living and driving the Company Core Values and High Performance Work Culture.
Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in assigned Production Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and / or Experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or ten years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and write in English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, rates and percentage.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Certified in First Aid, CPR, and Blood-borne Pathogens. Valid state level driver's license, which meets Company requirements of the Fleet Management Policy and insurance requirements.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
