Proficiency in estimating software. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Cost Estimator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- General project oversight and project administration.
- Compile accurate budgets and scopes of work on new and existing projects.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare bid packages and participate in bid reviews and presentations.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure estimates reflect current conditions.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
