The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to expand and manage a national Medicaid network of healthcare providers by proactively building relationships with potential partners, negotiating and securing contracts to support overall business growth and retention goals, and ensuring the agreements comply with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Business Development : Drive demand for TruHearing within the assigned territory by proactively reaching out to Medicaid and Medicare network providers by phone and video conference to build relationships, communicate the value proposition of partnering with TruHearing, address barriers or concerns, and secure the partnership.
- Achieve sales quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Analyze coverage across the company's hearing care provider network, design plans and creative solutions to close geographic or strategic gaps in coverage.
- Contract Management & Provider Education : Negotiate contracted rates and terms with hospitals, universities and hearing health providers; ensure contracts align with Medicaid reimbursement structures and state-specific guidelines; develop and execute single-case agreements for out-of-network or specialized services.
- Maintain a deep clinical knowledge of hearing aid products as needed to provide the necessary education to providers, including brands such as Oticon, Phonak, Resound, Signia, Starkey and Widex, and related software and hardware benefit advantages.
- Strategic Collaboration : Partner with the Sales and Account Management team to support Medicaid expansion and retention goals of the Health Plans; maintain alignment with Network Management, Legal, Sales and Account Management, and Operations through regular collaboration meetings; work effectively with territory counterparts to execute plans, prospect, develop and grow the business.

Required
Bachelor's degree in related field and three (3+) years of experience in healthcare provider contracting.A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a formal educationStrong contract negotiation skills, analytical skills, and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with Medicaid reimbursement methodologies and managed care principles.Preferred
