Our client, a beauty brand, is hiring a VP of Digital & eCommerce to join their team in Los Angeles or Orange County on a hybrid schedule (1 day in office).
Job Duties Include :
- Lead global eCommerce strategy to scale DTC and marketplace performance across North America and international markets
- Identify future-facing trends, channel opportunities, and innovations in tech, AI, user experience, customer service, etc.
- Partner to define the digital roadmap and present strategic updates and performance insights
- Own revenue growth across D2C North America, D2C International, Amazon US, and other online marketplaces
- Manage P&L responsibilities with the goal of achieving net sale, optimizing COGS, fulfillment costs, media investments, etc.
- Own DTC, Amazon, and social commerce forecasting and multi-year modeling to drive revenue growth strategy
- Lead full-funnel strategy across performance marketing, lifecycle, and site optimization to drive acquisition and increase conversion rates
- Plan and allocate budgets for new market entries
- Oversee performance creative strategy across cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency, drive continual testing, ensure optimization of content across channels
- Guide the internal analytics team and technical partners in supporting advanced attribution, incrementality, and analysis
- Lead digital platform technology decisions, including Shopify optimizations, API-based integrations, etc.
- Lead AI-enablement in collaboration with IT and legal to ensure data security
- Oversee the end-to-end digital customer journey to deliver excellent experiences across all digital touchpoints
- Lead CX and lifecycle teams to deepen customer engagement and retention
- Develop, coach, and scale a high-performance digital team
- Develop clear OKRs relating to the financial model and brand objectives
- Foster clarity of strategy, accountability to goals, and responsibility over initiatives with the team
- Manage vendor relationships across technology, media, marketplace, and data platforms
- Negotiate contracts, ensure performance standards, and oversee onboarding of new partners to support global growth
Job Qualifications Include :
10+ years of relevant experience in d2c / eCommerce3+ years in a senior leadership role within beauty or CPGProven record of scaling DTC and marketplace businesses across geographiesStrong experience with Amazon FBA, international DTC expansion, and cross-border media planningTechnical fluency including Shopify Plus, ESP / CDP platforms, and advanced analytics toolsBoard-facing experience and strong executive presenceAbility to develop cross-functional partnershipsGlobal mindset with an agile, test-and-learn mentalitySalary : $250k - $280k annually
