Quality Assurance Manager

Located within the Washington corridor, CGH has worked successfully with Government, Commercial and International sectors, providing management consulting, software development and facilities / infrastructure design, maintenance and program management support of large, complex operational environments and facilities security maintenance. CGH has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join the CGH Team.

Purpose :

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and management of the company's quality management system (QMS). This position ensures all products and services meet or exceed contractual requirements, federal regulations, and recognized quality standards, specifically ISO 9001 and CMMI. The QA Manager leads a team of quality professionals and drives a culture of continuous improvement across all projects and departments.

Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 and CMMI standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal, customer, third-party, and government quality audits.
• Ensure compliance with government contracting requirements, including FAR, DFARS, and contract-specific QASPs.
• Translate federal contract quality requirements into company procedures and project work instructions.
• Maintain documentation for quality policies, process descriptions, and control procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to integrate quality practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct internal process and product audits to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee nonconformance management and the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process.
• Develop, monitor, and report quality performance metrics (KPIs) to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and train the quality assurance team to support professional growth and performance.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Partner with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and conduct supplier quality audits as needed.
• Serve as liaison with government clients on quality-related issues and manage customer feedback and complaints.
