job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMaster's degree in educational administration / instructional leadership or related field. Valid Alabama administrator certificate, preferred. A minimum of five years of successful coaching or athletic director experience. Prioritize the safety and well-being of all athletic program participants. Maintain and submit reports, records, and correspondence in a timely and accurate manner. Evaluate extra-curricular athletic programs annually. Determine student athletes' eligibility. Ensure fair and impartial treatment of all student-athletes. Promote gender equity in sports programs. Contribute to comprehensive fiscal planning initiatives. Assist in preparing and implementing the school system budget. Coordinate budgeting through the head coach of each sport. Coordinate staffing for home contests. Oversee game day logistics. Partner with the approved agency to ensure athletic trainer and emergency medical coverage.
