Our client is the fastest growing company in the EV charging sector. It is backed by a large institutional fund committed to deploying infrastructure capital over the long-term. This, combined with the blue-chip talent the company has already attracted from the EV sector, has enabled it to create a competitive advantage as it focuses on and wins large enterprise accounts. The company prides itself on a high-performance environment that emphasizes excellence in execution, fierce collaboration, and collegiality. It is seeking an ambitious and strategic Marketing Director, who can target marketing vehicles, solve complex problems, and has a proven track record of successful marketing strategy and implementation. This person will be responsible for building a sophisticated, highly targeted marketing engine to position the business as a leader in the EV charging space.
This is an in-person role based in Santa Monica (Los Angeles), CA.
Responsibilities :
Develop and execute a high-impact marketing strategy focused on acquiring approximately 1,000 key enterprise-level accounts across multifamily real estate, hospitality, parking, and other verticals.
Own and evolve the company's visual identity, tone of voice, and core messaging across all platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement effective marketing campaigns that generate leads and meet business objectives.
Oversee collateral creation, website design and management, and sales material customization, ensuring alignment with sales strategies.
Ensure a strong company presence at trade shows, including messaging, physical presence, and speaking opportunities for executives.
Manage relationships with external design teams to ensure brand consistency and manage marketing budgets effectively.
Set and monitor goals and KPIs for marketing initiatives, using data and feedback for continuous improvement.
Conduct market research, analyze insights, and use data to create forecasts and reports.
Stay informed about marketing trends and competitors, adapting strategies accordingly.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or higher is a plus.
10+ years of experience in marketing, brand, and communications strategy, with a focus on B2B enterprise clients.
Management consulting experience is advantageous.
Experience with high-growth companies is a plus.
Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and visual.
Proven ability to manage complex projects independently.
Strong data-driven decision-making and creative problem-solving skills.
Compensation : Targeting a base salary of $165-200k, plus additional upside potential.
