job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWe're on the lookout for an experienced Controls Engineer who's excited to dive into complex challenges and help us shape the future of custom automation. In this role, you'll have the chance to lead key projects, mentor fellow engineers, and work alongside a team that's dedicated to excellence and creativity. Design and implement control systems that are both innovative and practical for our automation projects. Develop and refine PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems, making sure they meet our high standards and client expectations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues with a proactive and solution-focused mindset. Collaborate with engineers and customers to ensure we're all aligned and moving towards our goals. Oversee the testing and commissioning phases, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Share your knowledge and experience with junior team members, helping them grow and succeed. Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to keep us at the cutting edge of technology. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field. At least 7 years of hands-on experience in control engineering within industrial automation. Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, and Yaskawa) and SCADA / HMI systems. Experience with Cognex PC and hardware-based vision solutions A strong grasp of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet / IP, Profibus, Modbus). Proven experience leading control system design and implementation projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for troubleshooting complex issues. Great communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative and supportive attitude. Familiarity with designing for Category 3 and Category 4 Safety Willingness to Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and startup support We offer a competitive salary and healthcare benefits because we value your hard work.
