Controller

Major Food Group is currently hiring an experienced Controller to join our fast-growing finance team!

We are currently seeking a Controller with a solid background in Big 4 / Next 4 accounting firm and / or industry financial reporting experience. Y ou will be responsible for assisting in our financial reporting processes, and managing internal reporting, audit materials, and monthly close s. Your expertise in these areas will help us maintain our financial integrity and transparency.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual reports .
• Primary liason with external auditors
• Manage and coordinate quarterly financial reviews and the annual audit process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Review general ledger details for income statement and balance sheet for accuracy.
• Conduct technical accounting and reporting research to stay updated on industry and GAAP standards
• Manage internal reporting, audit materials, and monthly close processes.
• Use your experience to streamline and improve our financial reporting processes.
• Assist with compil ing and analyzing weekly results for restaurant senior management , and participate in weekly review.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Provide financial support and analysis for major projects, new business opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance standards .

Requirements :

Compensation : $150,000 - $160,000 annually based on experience
