Overview

DVS is looking for an Active Directory Systems Administrator - Intermediate to join our team. The work location will be Fort Huachuca, AZ. This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. This position will support which provides cutting-edge technology in an enterprise-level environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server infrastructure in compliance with DoD and Army standards.

Manage user accounts, security groups, and organizational units (OUs) to ensure proper access control and compliance.

Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture; apply patches and updates as required.

Implement and maintain DoD STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) and ensure systems remain compliant with Information Assurance (IA) requirements.

Effectively troubleshoot and document complex technical issues.

Record and track work in the enterprise ticketing system and Knowledge Management repositories.

Perform backup, recovery, and restoration operations for AD and Windows Servers.

Support incident response efforts, audit requests, and vulnerability remediation.

Provide on-call or shift support in a 24x7 operational environment as needed.

Work independently or collaboratively to set priorities and meet mission deadlines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience :

HS + 4 years of IT experience OR AA / AS + 2 year OR BA / BS degree.

Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator.

2+ years of experience managing Active Directory in an enterprise environment.

Experience with Windows Server 2016 / 2019 (or newer), DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.

Experience in system hardening, patching, and DoD STIG compliance.

Certifications (DoD 8570 - IAT II baseline required prior to hire) :

CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, or SSCP (required).

Must obtain within 6 months of hire :

AZ-900 - Microsoft Certified : Azure Fundamentals OR

AZ-104 - Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate OR

MD-102 - Microsoft Certified : Endpoint Administrator Associate.

Clearance :

Active Secret Clearance preferred.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (Interim Secret required prior to start).

Desired Qualifications

Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.

Familiarity with DoD / Army networks, DISA tools, and RMF compliance.

Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).

Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SCCM, Splunk).

Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to thrive in high-tempo, mission-critical environments.
