Plant HR Manager (MN Onsite) at RTP Company
This position is responsible for recruiting, employee relations, compliance, training and development, benefits, time management, workers compensation and other related HR functions for RTP Company. The Plant HR Manager supports the MN plant employees.
Base pay range : $75,000.00 / yr - $93,000.00 / yr
Note : This range is provided by RTP Company. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Actual wage will be based on related education / experience. Posted minimum starting range.

Responsibilities
- Manages the talent acquisition process for corporate positions, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and ensure compliance with internal hiring protocols and government regulations; represents employer in community and recruiting events
- Organizes and conducts new employee orientation, onboarding, and training programs
- Ensures proper employee communications on HR related items and acts as a resource for employee questions
- Coaches managers on effective management of their teams, including performance management and supports managers in employee disciplinary meetings and terminations
- Conducts investigations as needed
- Maintains employee records and paperwork confidentially
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and maintains knowledge of HR trends, regulatory changes, new technologies, etc.
- Reviews, updates, creates policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Supports timekeeping, attendance, and other HRIS changes
- Assists with benefit communication and actions
- Assists with employee events, such as the picnic and holiday celebrations
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Assists with corporate initiatives and projects, as well as global support needs
- Other duties as assigned
