As a Substation EIT / Coordinator, you will work under the supervision of experienced engineers. Your responsibilities will include :

• Communicate and work collaboratively under the direction of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and more Senior Engineers & Designers.
• Work with Designers and CAD Technicians to develop drawings in accordance with national design standards, safety codes, and project specifications and requirements.
• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and designs for electrical substations (Low, Medium, and High Voltage) and substation systems.
• Work on designs that typically include one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, substation physical layouts, material lists, conduit and cabling sizing / routing, AC and DC systems calculations and sizing, and substation grounding.
• Prepare specifications and redlines (as-builts) drawings for construction work packages.
• Some travel may be required.
• Perform all other duties as needed.
