Senior / Junior Electrical Engineer – Product Development
We're hiring at Arrive AI (Nasdaq : ARAI) to advance the Autonomous Last Mile (ALM) platform. Our product focus spans smart lockers and mini-cross-docks for frictionless drone, robotic, and courier delivery and pickup, used across medical supplies, meals, and e-commerce. Arrive AI is growing to scale an ALM network and platform for autonomous delivery providers, services, and customers.

The Role
You'll join Arrive AI's Product Team to lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for Arrive Points. This role covers power management, actuator control, sensor integration, and IoT connectivity to create robust, manufacturable electrical systems that support AI-enabled logistics devices for years to come. You'll work with mechanical, robotics, and systems engineers and guide electrical system architecture decisions—focusing on actuators, sensors, and multi-zone control schemes.
What You'll Do
- Design Electrical Circuits : Create schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring architectures for power, actuator control, and sensor networks.
- Integrate Components : Engineer how actuators, sensors, and controllers fit into larger system architectures for Arrive Points.
- Design Digitally First : Use CAD, simulation tools, and digital prototypes to validate designs before physical builds, accelerating development and reducing costly revisions.
- Prototype & Test : Build and iterate circuit boards and subsystems, validating performance, safety, and manufacturability.
- Optimize Power Efficiency : Design battery systems, power control circuits, and energy management for low-power, always-on devices.
- Engineer Actuator Systems : Design, integrate, and validate actuator control circuits and interfaces for precise, reliable motion within Arrive Points.
- Support Robotics Interfaces : Ensure Arrive Points' electrical systems interface seamlessly with robotic systems and control architectures.
- Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues : Rapidly debug prototyping and production challenges for reliable field performance.
- Enable AI-Driven Hardware : Build electrical systems that support AI processors, sensors, and data flows, making devices intelligent, power-efficient, and scalable.
What We're Looking For
Engineering Experience : 5+ years in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology for product development, ideally in hard-tech, robotics, or IoT-driven systems.Technical Expertise : Strong skills in circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad).Digital Prototyping Skills : Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and engineering simulation tools (FEA, dynamics, thermal, or control system simulation) to validate designs virtually.Actuator Experience : Proven experience designing, integrating, and controlling actuators in complex systems.Sensor Knowledge : Hands-on experience with sensor selection and integration for smart products.Multi-Zonal Control Systems : Experience with centralized, multi-zonal control architecture is a plus.Domain Knowledge : Background in IoT, embedded systems, batteries, and power management; robotics experience is desirable.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Able to work with mechanical, robotics, and systems engineers to align designs and solve integration issues.AI Hardware Mindset : Interest in designing electrical systems that enable AI-powered products and can evolve with new capabilities.Problem-Solving : Analytical and resourceful, capable of debugging and optimizing in a fast-paced startup environment.Additional
