Onward Search Education partners with school districts and charter schools across Illinois to connect dedicated educators with meaningful school-based roles. We’re currently hiring full-time Special Education Teachers (LBS1) for the 2025–2026 school year across several elementary schools in Kane County, IL .

Position Details :

Location : Kane County, IL

Schedule : Monday–Friday, School Hours

Duration : August 2025 – June 2026

Caseload : Elementary-aged students (specific caseloads vary by school)

Responsibilities :

Provide individualized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals

Develop and implement compliant, data-informed IEPs

Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families

Track and communicate student progress

Participate in IEP meetings and team planning sessions

Qualifications :

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)

LBS1 Endorsement

Experience developing and implementing IEPs

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Prior experience with elementary students preferred
