What You'll Be Doing

The Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for providing leadership within the department by aiding in the administration of department objectives and measures. This position requires experience in handling challenging subject matter along with ensuring department completion of all necessary work on time and with the highest degree of quality. This position is required to learn and understand the high level aspects of the department functions so that he / she may appropriately provide leadership and guidance to associates while monitoring workloads and providing insight on staffing needs.

• Assist in providing leadership to the department.
• Assist in the oversight of workloads and staffing needs.
• Oversee the maintenance of department policies and procedures.
• Aid in the creation and administration of department supervisory procedures to ensure appropriate controls are in place for their area of responsibility.
• Maintain an understanding of the work being completed by associates and the status of various projects.
• Streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Function as a mentor for others within the department.
• Collaborate with leadership on decision making within the department.
• Assist with the competency development of associates.
