Operations & Business Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations & Business Manager to oversee daily operations, streamline processes, and ensure smooth business performance across all areas of the company. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage teams, maintain compliance, and handle both business and technical aspects of operations.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Training
Hire, onboard, and guide team members.
Provide regular training to ensure service quality, compliance, and team growth.
Build a positive, collaborative work environment aligned with company culture.
Create clear guidance and standard operating procedures for staff.
Operations Management
Oversee staff scheduling and ensure coverage across shifts.
Manage payroll processing and resolve any related issues.
Supervise inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships (produce, coffee, matcha, etc.).
Source new products, suppliers, and negotiate better pricing when possible.
Ensure all drinks and food meet company quality standards.
Develop and implement catering workflows, including setup of online catering accounts and smooth payment / order processes.
Ensure compliance with health codes; prepare team for inspections.
Organize regular deep cleaning and maintenance routines.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
Monitor all business accounts and reconcile finances.
Make timely payments to vendors, services, and credit card accounts.
Open and manage business bank accounts as needed.
Track expenses and support cost optimization.
Technology & Equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to POS (Clover), delivery tablets, TVs, printers, and camera systems.
Oversee equipment installation, repair, replacement, and purchases.
Ensure proper setup and integration of delivery platforms.
Marketing & Brand Presence
Manage and update Google, Yelp, and other business listings.
Plan and execute social media strategies across platforms, including TikTok growth campaigns.
Oversee the design and ordering of branded packaging, uniforms, and promotional materials (cups, cones, posters, labels, cookie boxes, sleeves, etc.).
Customer Experience & Innovation
Respond to emails and customer requests promptly.
Develop new seasonal menu items (drinks and food) to enhance offerings.
Maintain consistent product quality and ensure adherence to recipes and standards.
Continuously explore new opportunities to improve customer experience and expand business reach.
Qualifications
Proven experience in operations, hospitality, or retail management.
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to troubleshoot technical systems and manage vendor relations.
Financial acumen with experience in payroll, payments, and account management.
Creative mindset for marketing, product development, and customer engagement.
Knowledge of health and safety compliance in food & beverage industry.
