We're seeking a skilled CAD specialist to join our team in Markle, IN. You'll serve as an architectural drafter for our company, utilizing design software to produce 2D and 3D designs. This position requires extensive expertise in computer-aided design software and techniques to create detailed plans for wood structures and components. Communication is vital for this position as you'll work directly with clients and incorporate their feedback into your designs.

Compensation : $24 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Get feedback from the client and construction managers and revise designs as needed
- Work with construction team members to establish a timeline and budget for the design
- Meet with clients during the beginning of the project to get project specifications and scope
- Communicate progress to superintendents and project managers, so they know when designs are finished
- Use computer-aided drafting software to create and edit detailed schematics and plans for manufactured wood components.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product designers to ensure that designs are accurate and meet the project requirements.
Qualifications :
Highly attuned to detail and possess excellent teamwork, organizational, and communication skillsMinimum 2 years of CAD drafting and detailing experience with programs such as AutoCAD, Autodesk, Solidworks, etc. Truss design software experience is a plus, but not required.Collaborative team member able to meet project deadlines and communicate with internal and external stakeholders on progress and information requests.Above-average working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.About Company
