We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to lead teams to meet safety, quality, and production goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Monitor daily operations and address issues related to production schedules, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to improve performance and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Enforce safety and health regulations, conducting regular safety audits and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments (maintenance, quality, engineering, logistics) to resolve production issues and streamline processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, attendance, inventory usage, and downtime.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality or process deviations.
- Lead daily shift meetings and contribute to long-term production planning.
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or related field preferred.5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory level role.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA).Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.Preferred Qualifications :
Lean Six Sigma certification or experience in continuous improvement initiatives.Bilingual (e.g., English / Spanish) is a plus but not required.Experience in Welding and Steel Processes.
