Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm , is seeking a junior-level Associate Attorney to join their thriving Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Dallas or Denver . This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who's interested in engaging with some of the largest structured commercial real estate finance transactions in the nation.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction , in good standing
- 2–3 years of broad real estate finance experience in a large law firm setting
- Demonstrated experience with loan origination work for large-scale structured commercial real estate finance transactions , including mezzanine loans and preferred equity
- Experience with asset management and workouts is also required
- Ability to execute transactions on behalf of lenders , including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies
- Ambitious, with a strong drive to excel and contribute to the growth of the national practice
- Soft Skills : Exceptional writing, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, as well as strong business acumen and meticulous attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
Lead large-scale commercial real estate finance transactions from inception to post-closing , including loan origination, mezzanine loans and preferred equityManage assets and support workouts for commercial real estate clientsRun transactions on behalf of lenders and advise on exit strategies , including secondary market repurchase facility workCollaborate with attorneys across practices to provide comprehensive client supportDevelop and strengthen client relationships, building on the firm's established national practiceWhy Join Us?

Compensation & Benefits
