Our client, a metal roofing, panels & systems manufacture is seeking an inspired and results oriented Outside Sales / Specification Representative to support their distributor partners in the growth of their Building Products business covering Northern Illinois and the state of Wisconsin.
Must live within 40 miles of Chicago.
SUMMARY : Outside Sales reps will call on : commercial architects to get products specified; generate brand awareness with industry professionals, and assist in pull-through sales with the distribution network.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial exterior building envelope sales experience, ability to read blueprints and perform takeoffs. They also must have strong prospecting, relationship building, and listening skills.
