Responsibilities Work in the Interventional Radiology department within a cancer center and connected main hospital campus Patient population includes cancer patients and cases requiring IR procedures and conscious sedation recovery Responsibilities include assisting with PICC lines during call shifts (PAs insert PICCs) Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM On-call required 1-2 days per week, averaging 4-6 calls per month Floating between two connected campuses required Uses EPIC for documentation Primary duties include assisting with interventional radiology procedures and recovering patients post-conscious sedation EMR is EPIC; prior experience using EPIC is beneficial First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted Holiday coverage required for at least two out of three holidays during the contract No block scheduling available Professional scrubs required Support is provided by a collaborative IR team Facilities are connected via a pedestrian bridge Requirements Active NJ or Compact RN license required BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required At least 1.5 years of Level I trauma experience or 2 years of Level II trauma experience or stroke center experience required Experience with A-line and procedural wedge pressures required Experience with EKOS or similar devices highly preferred Scrub experience preferred but not required Prior IR experience preferred Open or active background or license hits not accepted Former staff must have at least a 1-year gap from the specified health system before eligibility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627014.
