IT Server Administrator

Talascend is currently seeking an IT Server Administrator for an opportunity in Livonia, MI.

OVERVIEW :

The IT Server Administrator II will be responsible for monitoring on premise and cloud-based server environments. The positions will also be responsible for maintaining a healthy and secure Active Directory environment, including connecting workstations to the company network and monitoring the network for any potential issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Build, maintain and support both physical and virtual servers.
• Validates corporate backups are executed weekly and assures they are restorable. Troubleshoot issues as necessary.
• Develop and implement server maintenance standards and operating procedures.
• Manage, maintain, diagnose, and repair hardware and software within the server environments.
• Maintaining a healthy and secure Active Directory environment.
• Responsible for updating documentation of the server environment, policies and standards.
• Implement approved corporate security policies and procedures, escalate issues and / or compromises to management.
