The Honest Company is looking for a passionate and strategic Senior Manager, Brand Mission : focused on how Honest will challenge ingredients, ideals and industries. This position is critical to support the Company's mission with a focus on the technical path forward. Honest has been on the leading edge of Clean and has been a change agent in challenging ingredients and industry. It is essential that Honest continues to evolve as science evolves to be a leader in clean in regards to ingredients, ideals, and industries. This role serves as a key driver of this work and will be required to partner across R&D, Brand, and Public Relations to lead defining our commitments in this space. Leverage front line science and technology internally and externally to establish business practices that enable Honest to lead in challenging the industry and ingredient norms in the clean movement and to help evolve the Honest Standard in support of our mission. In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with brand, R&D and public relations to develop and implement mission focused strategies, measure performance, and ensure alignment with our internal goals and industry standards. What you'll do :

• Lead our mission strategy technically in partnership with brand and corporate comms / PR to clearly articulate the Honest Standard and POV. Help conceptualize and develop the vision and strategy to drive the company's mission statement as well as the roadmaps for implementing and executing the initiatives.
• Ensuring the mission of challenging ingredients, ideals and industries is forward looking while being grounded scientifically and is able to be communicated in way to be a driver of consumer value.
• Connect externally to understand evolving science (globally) and emerging issues as well as standards of reporting and communications.
• Identify and mitigate mission related risks at the corporate level, ensuring compliance with global regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and implement systems for measuring and tracking performance, identifying areas for improvement, and driving continuous improvement.
• Conduct materiality assessments to help Honest identify and prioritize the most significant brand mission related issues impacting the business and stakeholders.
• Stay informed on evolving science including regulations, trends, and best practices, providing guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the brand mission considerations into Honest's business operations and corporate strategy.

What you'll need :

The pay range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total rewards package for this position may also include base, annual incentive plan, benefits, retirement plan, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
