We are looking for a skilled Operations Manager to join our logistics team in Gardena, California. This is a position where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing operational activities to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities and a solid background in managing business processes.

Responsibilities :

• Leads Operations in ISO 9001 Standards, Training, Certification, Audits and Metrics review.
• Oversee and manage department operations, including hiring, promotions, and terminations, to maintain a high-performing team.
• Set and enforce standard work hours, flexible schedules, and travel requirements as needed.
• Develop and approve staff schedules, shifts, time records, and requests for time off.
• Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions to employees to ensure optimal job performance.
• Assist upper management with appraising employee results and planning business operations.
• Lead efforts in achieving corporate goals, including budget preparation and managing expenses.
• Approve purchase requests and oversee departmental headcount numbers.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, certifications, audits, and metrics reviews.
• Collaborate with external vendors and government agencies to maintain operations and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor safety measures and ensure the workplace remains injury-free while reporting any incidents.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management or a related field.
• Ability to conduct criticality analysis to prioritize operational needs.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and external certification requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and track expenses effectively.
