The teacher salary range starts at $54,386.11 and increases according to the set salary schedule based on education beyond the required bachelor's degree and previous years of fully-licensed K-12 teaching experience.

Milwaukee Public Schools is actively recruiting licensed and experienced candidates for paired music teaching positions.

Paired positions are full-time teaching in two schools (general music in grades K-5 or choral or instrumental or music technology in grades 6-8). These positions may spend mornings in one school and afternoons in another or two days a week at one school and three at the other. Exact configuration to be determined based on pairing.
