What You Will Do
Review and approve subdivision and land development plans in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC).Design and manage public works projects, including roadways, stormwater systems, sanitary sewers, and recreational facilities.Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed engineering reports and recommendations for municipal governing bodies.Coordinate with developers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance, quality, and timely project completion.Provide technical guidance on zoning, environmental impact, and stormwater management matters.Prepare bid documents, cost estimates, and construction specifications for municipal infrastructure projects.Assist municipalities with grant applications, funding strategies, and long-range capital improvement planning.What you Bring
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program5+ years of relevant civil / site design experience3+ years of relevant experience in municipal engineering, including plan reviews and infrastructure designEIT required; PE license preferredStrong working knowledge of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC), DEP regulations, and other applicable state and federal standardsProficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetExcellent communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to municipal officials and the public.Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Please Note
