Data Analyst – Power BI Specialist (Hybrid – Detroit, MI)

Pay Rate : $39.80 / hour

Type : Long-Term Contract (Possible Extension or Direct Hire)

• NOTE
• This is NOT a remote role. This is a hybrid role that requires 2-3 days a week in our Detroit office. You must absolutely reside within a drivable distance of Metro Detroit.

Description :

We are looking for a Data Analyst – Power BI Specialist to design and deliver impactful dashboards, reports, and analytics that transform corporate data into actionable insights. This role requires strong Power BI, DAX, and SQL expertise, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.

Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple systems and databases.

Collaborate with teams to define data requirements and align with business objectives.

Perform deep-dive analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.

Automate recurring reports and optimize data workflows.

Stay up to date on Power BI best practices and enhancements.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with a strong focus on Power BI .

Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling .

Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and data warehousing concepts.

Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis.
