Drive financial stewardship for a portfolio of large-scale clean infrastructure projects. You’ll own project accounting, cash management, compliance, and reporting to ensure capital is allocated efficiently and projects meet financial and impact targets.
Key responsibilities
- Project accounting : Lead A / P, A / R, payroll allocations, general ledger activity, and month‑end close for assigned projects.
- Cash management : Reconcile project bank accounts, manage disbursements and drawdowns, and protect project liquidity.
- Audit and compliance : Prepare lender reports, compliance packages, and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Financial operations : Oversee journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and maintain audit‑ready records.
- Policy and controls : Apply GAAP, internal policies, and contractual accounting requirements across project agreements.
- Stakeholder partnership : Work closely with project teams, contractors, and finance partners to align budgets, timelines, and forecasts.
- Reporting and insights : Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and executive reporting that inform funding and capital decisions.
Required qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Experience : 3+ years of accounting experience; project, construction, or infrastructure experience strongly preferred.Credentials : CPA preferred or actively pursuing.Systems : Proficient with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite; advanced Excel and BI reporting skills.Skills : Clear communicator for nonfinance audiences; strong analytical rigor and attention to detail; reliable multi‑project time management.Success metrics first 6 to 12 months
