American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a MI RN license, ACLS, and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the ICU caring for ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) patients in a hospital setting
  • Nurses monitor telemetry for the entire hospital
  • Required to float to Medical-Surgical / Telemetry and IMC units, with possible float to Emergency Department
  • Night shifts are 12 hours from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30, with every other weekend required
  • Uses Paragon / Allscripts for acute care charting and T-System for Emergency Department documentation
  • Bedside shift reporting, use of AIDET, and hourly rounding are mandatory
  • First to float to inpatient units as needed
  • Orientation includes completion of required modules recorded via Kronos
  • Must not live within a 60-mile radius; local travelers are not considered
  • If multiple holidays occur during the assignment, only one holiday RTO request will be accepted
  • Returning travelers cannot work at the facility for more than one year without a one-year break in service

  • Active Michigan RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
  • Current AHA certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
  • PALS certification preferred
  • Fingerprinting required for Michigan placements
  • Two professional references required, one must be from a supervisor
