Client located in Greer, SC is in the market for a BUYER / PLANNER

Hours :   8am-5pm (M-F)

Pay :   $55,000 - $66,500 (Depends on Experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.               Coordinate and support Sales and Production on service repair jobs.

2.               Purchase parts for rebuilds and spare parts.

3.               Assist on pricing of repair jobs and spare parts.

4.               Purchase parts needed for service repairs and spare parts.

5.               Monitor purchase orders and update service repair schedule.

6.               Update SAP database for externally provided processes, products and services approval

7.               Assist on field service jobs (pricing).

REPORTING

1.               Supply Chain Manager.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1.               Grade 12 / 5 years work experience.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

1.               New employee basic training (form F_7.2_10).

2.               Internal systems & product training during first week orientation.

3.               Computer training if not proficient in Microsoft office.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

1.               Appropriate purchasing qualification.

2.               Thorough knowledge of company mechanical products.

3.               Detail oriented.

4.               Proficiency in Microsoft programs.

5.               Knowledge of gearing industry.

6.               Computer literacy.
