St. Luke's Cancer Institute (SLCI)
clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology / oncology treatment centers offering chemo / bio / and radiation therapies. Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke's Cancer Institute for more than 50 years for advanced, compassionate care for cancer blood disorders. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. What you can expect from this role
We're looking for a
Nurse Navigator
to join our
Clinical Oncology
team and support our
Fruitland
Nampa
clinic locations. The Nurse Navigator serves as a patient advocate and liaison, guiding individuals and families through the complexities of cancer care. This role is essential in ensuring timely access to care, coordinating multidisciplinary services, and providing education and emotional support throughout the cancer journey.
Assess barriers to oncology care and offers support, care coordination, guidance and education for patients and families with a new diagnosis of cancer
Work closely with our providers, primary RNs, and scheduling team
Focus on navigating patients with solid tumor diagnosis
Partner with another Nurse Navigator to cover the 2 clinic locations
Part-time (0.6 FTE) | 64 hours per pay period
Schedule : 3 days a week x 8-hour shifts (Days TBD)
No nights, weekends, or St. Luke's observed holidays
Hybrid option
Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
Certification pay eligible (ex. OCN)
Minimum qualifications for this role
Education : Nursing Degree
Experience : Two (2) + years' RN experience
Licenses / Certifications : Current RN License in the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
Preferred : Oncology experience and / or OCN certification
Preferred : RN license within the state of Oregon or willing to obtain once hired
