POSITION OVERVIEW
Supervise a team of Field Service Technicians assigned to the service and maintenance of gas engine and electrically driven compression assets in a designated area. Schedule work for your team and ensure that work is done on time and to the highest standards, while assisting in developing and executing on practices that eliminate unscheduled corrective maintenance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide overall support and technical assistance to your team as needed on regular schedule work, unscheduled events, and major maintenance.
- Serve as a mentor to trainees, ensuring that all Technicians have the proper training to perform their job as expected.
- Build a weekly work schedule for your assigned area that ensures schedule maintenances are being done on time and resources are allocated accordingly.
- Prepare a call rotation for your assigned area that facilitates coverage for after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls. Participate in a Supervisor call rotation where you may take calls from Technicians that need technical assistance over the phone or on location.
- Participate in customer reliability meeting with the Area Service Manager and Account Manager.
- Review completed work orders from your team daily and ensure paperwork is being submitted timely and with all required information. Based on your review and experience, check in with the team to see if follow-up work is needed, and schedule it accordingly.
- Regularly review data from remote monitoring and Power BI to be predictive when able and thoroughly analyze the root cause of problems when they occur.
- Set expectations for your team that align with the core values of Flatrock and hold them and yourself accountable. Lead by example.
- Acts as an extension of the Field Service Manager when communicating to Teammates and Customers alike.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
At least 10 years of experience in the gas compression industryHigh School diploma or equivalentPossesses strong organization, communication, and time management skillsAble to remain task-oriented and maintain composure with excellent customer service while working under pressure in a fast-paced work environmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
