job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEnsure compliance with quality standards and documentation. Testing, inspection, and packaging of product. Metal finishing, prototype running, and other metal case production work. Other duties as assigned. Once employee demonstrates competency in position, he / she may be required to train others in similar roles. High School Diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing experience using small hand tools preferred. Good hand and eye coordination. Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. Light lifting while bending and stooping. Ability to stand up throughout the day and up to two hours at a time. Physical demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required throughout the workday to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to see print in various sizes and formats. May be required to climb stairs. Must regularly be able to pull and push up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Work environment : Work performed in a production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (for Maintenance & Receiving only). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, in some areas.
