Shift Availability
We are hiring for both first and second shift.
First Shift : Monday through Thursday, 5 : 00am - 3 : 30pm with occasional overtime on Friday's.
Second Shift : Monday through Thursday, 3 : 30pm - 2 : 00am with occasional overtime on Friday's. Second shift includes a $1.50 / hr. shift premium.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator that is a dedicated, detail orientated and self-motivated. This position requires technical expertise in operating a Mazak Fiber Optic & C02 Laser and maintaining laser cutting equipment, along with a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in finished products. Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating laser machines, loading materials, and programming cutting parameters based on job requirements. The Laser Operator must monitor production processes, inspect finished products for defects, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate a Mazak Fiber optic & C02 Laser with AutomationConduct laser material handling - Load & unload steelAssist in part break outCommunicate Laser status to Production Planner & SupervisorProcessing internal cut orders for manufacturing and engineering departmentsWork in a safe manner and enforce all safety policiesChecking parts for quality and accuracyAssist other departments as neededPerform other duties as assignedRequirements :

Proficiency in setting up, programming, and operating laser cutting equipment is essential. Candidates should be familiar with CAD / CAM software for programming cutting paths and adjusting cutting parametersAbility to learn to troubleshoot issues with the laserAbility to read blueprintsCrane and forklift experience preferredPhysical Demands
