Our client, an American retailer who own and operates four well-known brands is hiring a Visual Basic Developer to join their retail product planning application team!

This team is working on developing enhancements to an application that supports in-store retail planning for upcoming seasons. As an Engineer on this team you would be responsible for using SQl, .NET and Visual Basic to develop new capabilities and maintain the application!

What you will do :

  • Develop and maintain Visual Basic applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
  • Write clean, scalable code using Visual Basic programming language.
  • Debug and optimize applications to enhance performance.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing applications.
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with project deadlines and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Visual Basic Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
