What You'll be Doing

We’re looking for a dynamic professional to join our team, providing a blend of marketing support, agency education, and underwriting assistance to help drive company growth and maintain exceptional client service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, training others, spotting business opportunities, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Marketing & Agency Support

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
  • Conduct in-person agency visits and web-based training sessions to educate producers and CSRs on products, rating platforms, and online tools.
  • Present targeted product lines to agencies and develop sales strategies to increase adoption.
  • Develop and distribute engaging marketing materials, targeted campaigns, and travel to retail agencies to understand their needs.
  • Create connections with coded producers, tailoring support to their experience and goals.
  • Track agency interactions, monitor campaign performance, and provide reporting on growth opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and contribute ideas for improving product sheets, marketing materials, and training resources.

    • Underwriting Support

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate leads and build strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with the Underwriting team to ensure timely, accurate, and complete submission of documentation.
  • Review incoming submissions for completeness and proactively resolve gaps before underwriter review.
  • Input and update data within quoting systems and underwriting platforms to support efficient turnaround times.
  • Serve as a liaison between brokers, clients, and underwriters to obtain missing details and clarify requirements.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date digital files and records to ensure compliance and accessibility.
  • Track submission and quote progress, providing regular status updates to the Underwriting team and management.
  • Assist in underwriting review of files, preparing quotes, and submitting to underwriters for approval.
  • Support process improvements and workflow efficiencies to enhance productivity.

    • Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain a structured travel plan and execute multiple agencies visits weekly.
  • Update and share sales activity reports / dashboards with leadership on a regular basis.
  • Stay current with continuing education and licensing requirements.

    • Requirements

  • Proficient in computer applications and documentation management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to continuous growth and professional development.
  • Comfortable traveling 50% of the time
  • Able to withstand high stress environments for long periods of time
