We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to assist with onboarding activities. This contract role is based in Goose Creek, South Carolina, and focuses on ensuring new employees have a seamless and efficient experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate onboarding processes, such as scheduling orientations and facilitating jobsite introductions for new employees.
- Prepare and manage new employee paperwork, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
- Maintain and organize employee records and digital files in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Distribute ID badges, uniforms, safety gear, and other necessary materials to new team members.
- Track and monitor training completions, certifications, and attendance at safety orientations.
- Update and manage onboarding checklists and maintain related spreadsheets to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the HR and Talent Acquisition teams to support a smooth onboarding experience for all new employees.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
- Prior administrative experience, preferably in a construction, HR, or related environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as data entry systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and new hires.
- Capacity to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.
