Overview

Senior Field Sales Account Manager, Google Cloud. The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business with cloud technology. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will play a key role in understanding customer needs and helping shape the future of businesses using technology to connect with customers, employees and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with enterprise customers.
  • Negotiate and manage business cycles, presenting to C-level executives in corporate customers.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners.
  • Understand customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and external landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by guiding customers through the entire business cycle.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with commercial and legal negotiations working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Experience promoting Google Cloud computing technologies to organizations across geographies.
  • Ability to present analyses and break down technical concepts into simple terms to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Ability to influence decisions at the executive level.

    As an Enterprise Field Sales Representative, you’ll leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop new relationships and act as a trusted business partner to understand company challenges and goals. You will lead innovative products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

    Compensation

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
